Terms of Service

Effective date: July 13, 2026

1. Acceptance

These terms apply when you access the Lunery Lab public website or use Lunery Lab Studio (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What the Service provides

Lunery Lab Studio is a local-first desktop application for image, video, canvas, and creative-asset workflows. It runs without a Lunery Lab account. The public website provides product information, examples, downloads, and documentation; it is not an online creative workspace.

3. MIT software license

Source code and software identified as MIT-licensed are provided under the MIT License included with the distribution. Subject to that license and its copyright and permission notice, you may use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and sell copies of that software.

The Lunery Lab name, logo, and other brand assets are not licensed by the MIT License except as needed for lawful attribution. Third-party components, models, and assets remain subject to their own licenses.

4. Your responsibilities

  • Use the Service lawfully and respect privacy, intellectual property, publicity, and other rights.
  • Only upload, process, or share content you have the right to use.
  • Secure your device, local files, provider keys, model files, and compatible endpoints.
  • Do not use the Service to create or distribute unlawful abuse, sexual exploitation of minors, malware, or content intended to facilitate serious harm.
  • Do not interfere with the public website, its infrastructure, or another person's access.

5. Your content and generated output

You retain whatever rights you hold in prompts, reference materials, and other content you provide. Rights in generated output vary by applicable law, the model and asset licenses, and any cloud provider terms. We do not claim ownership of your content or promise that an output is unique, non-infringing, or eligible for copyright protection. You are responsible for reviewing output before using or publishing it.

6. Local models, cloud providers, and costs

You choose and configure local models, user-owned API keys, cloud AI providers, and compatible endpoints. Their separate terms, privacy practices, usage limits, licenses, and charges apply. Lunery Lab does not guarantee that a particular provider, endpoint, model, or output will remain available or compatible, and does not pay charges you incur with those services.

7. Availability and updates

Because Studio is accountless local software, there is no Lunery Lab account to suspend or terminate. You may stop using it at any time. Existing local functionality may continue without the public website, but downloads, documentation, updates, operating-system support, and third-party integrations may change or become unavailable.

8. Warranties and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, fit for a particular purpose, or produce a particular result. Nothing in these terms excludes a consumer guarantee or other right that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lunery Lab is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from the Service, third-party providers, or generated output.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product or legal requirements change. The current version and effective date will be posted on this page. Updated terms apply to your use of the Service after they take effect.
